“I think you are a miracle worker, Joy! I was skeptical that therapy would do me any good. I couldn’t walk very far without my legs going to “sleep” and making walking uncertain. I was afraid to go out alone because I didn’t know when I would need help walking. If I sat for long periods, when I got up I didn’t know if I could walk. When I climbed stairs I had to lead with my right foot and bring my left to that step before I took the next one. I was considering asking my doctor for a handicapped sign for my car.
