Orthopedic
Residency Program
Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced physical therapist with a physical therapy license, as part of the PRO~PT Collective, you’ll have access to a one-year, one-on-one clinical mentorship through our orthopedic residency program.
Starting annually in January, the 50-week program includes full-time employment at PRO~PT without salary reductions, allowing you to enrich your expertise without sacrificing your pay.


- Scheduled weekly 1-on-1 mentorship with reflection time
- Structured weekly readings with discussions
- A minimum of 150 hours of scheduled one-on-one clinical supervision while treating patients
- Multiple opportunities to observe orthopedic surgeries
- Small group classroom and lab instruction
- Focused skill-building on examination, treatment, and clinical reasoning aspects of orthopedic physical therapy
- Training in evidence-based guidelines and advanced clinical practice
- Preparation for the orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) examination
- Full benefits package for residents employed for a minimum of 35 hours per week
- Integrated and supervised independent study
- Patient care
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
- An essay (<1,000 words) describing “What do you wish to gain through participation in a residency/fellowship program?”
- A complete resume
- Applications for the upcoming year’s residency are due by October 31 of the previous year
The residency program is run by Richard Rose, III, Program Administrator, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, along with Steffani Rich, an experienced physical therapist and educator.

Wings Leadership
Program
As our support for our clinics’ communities grows, so does our need to grow leaders who will direct teams and support those communities. Our Wings Leadership Program trains you on a range of soft and hard skills that set you up for career advancement as we expand.
This 11-month program dives deep into our organizational ethos, methodologies, and processes, helping you become the best leader possible.
